"Kermit was wrong"
Kermit the frog always said that it wasn't
easy being green. Well I am here to
tell you exactly the opposite! You can be very, very green;
very, very easily.
Recycle---Recycle---Recycle
They report that the City of Seattle leads the nation in
recycling efforts, and a hearty congratulations to all of
us. Glass bottles, plastic containers, newspapers, even all
of those coffee cups that our fair city is famous for.
We recycle it all.
Now, during these unique
times, we can recycle our jewelry.
No, no
you don't need to head down to First Avenue to
visit a pawn shop or search the internet for someone trustworthy.
With accurate, calibrated equipment I will consult with you
to give you an honest, fair price for your old and tired treasures.
All in the comfort and privacy of my beautiful salon. Or,
how about trade towards a new "work of art", possibly
something from one of the country's hottest designers, Toby
Pomeroy? His fantastic designs are wrought in recycled metals.
You may have seen him on the Today Show or in Oprah's Magazine.
This really is the time to recycle, as globally, metals prices
have reached levels
of all-time highs. Three times the price per ounce than it
was 10 years ago! It is great to be green, and I think it
is also OK to put a little jingle in your pocket as a reward
for it, or better yet, donate it to one of your favorite "Green"
charities.
Happy
Spring,
Kim
Smith
PS: While we are on
the subject of GREEN---I have great news. Even though
we have loved our time in the Joshua Green Building, it is
time to move on and move up. They have decided to renovate
this glorious old building, so we seized this opportunity
to move our salon a block away to a bigger, better and more
beautiful environment. We are very excited and will keep you
posted with all the coming details of this summertime move!!
